This product is a basic organic
industrial chemical.
1,2,4-Trimethyl Benzene (Pseudocumene) is also a good solvent for
the production of H2O2(hydrogen
peroxide).
1,2,4-trimethylbenzene (Pseudocumene) is used chiefly as the raw
material for production of trimellitic anhydride,
pyromellitic dianhydride.
1,2,4-Trimethyl Benzene (Pseudocumene) could be used as a gasoline
additive to improve the performance of gasoline.

resins, soluble alkide resins, unsaturated polyester resins,
plasticizers, ethoxyline resin solidifying agents and surfactants.
Manufacture method:
It is isolated from the C9-C10 aromatic
hydrocarbons that are produced by catalytic reforming and splitting of naphtha.
The pseudocumene content of reformed aromatic hydrocarbons is as high as over
40%. Fractional distillation will produce pure product of 99% or more.
Toxicity and protection:
This product is toxic and it irritates
mucous membrane and central nerves. Avoid contact.

This product is flammable and explosive
and should be stored in oil cans, tank trucks or iron barrels which meet the
requirement of inspection regulations. Taking expansion into consideration,
safety space should be allocated according to temperature variations. Never
completely fill the container. Fire should be strictly prohibited during storage
and transportation and related fire control regulations should be observed.
Adequate fire control equipments should be prepared.
Drum loading: 200 Ltrs (170kgs) per
galvanized iron drum,80 drums per 20'FCL, total 13,600kgs.
ISO Tank Loading: 20,000 kgs per
25 CBM ISO Tank.
We hereby stongly recommend that
loading by ISO Tank is much more economical and convenient than by drum
+ container, if our customer can receive the goods from ISO Tank.
